The School received a 2 day inspection in June 2019. The team of inspectors were very clear in their judgements and recognised that the school had made many significant improvements since the last inspection in 2017.
The Inspection team judged Mowmacre Hill Primary School to be a “Good” school with many qualities focussing on the wellbeing and achievements of our pupils. Standards are continuing to rise and pupils are increasingly well prepared for the next steps of their education. The school was described as inclusive, positive and aspirational where Staff feel valued, and are highly motivated.
The inspection also recognised the collaborative relationship that the school has with The Discovery Schools Academy Trust and the effective contribution the Trust makes to support school improvement.
Pupils show compassion and empathy for other people. They are proud of their school, behave well and feel that they are kept safe.
The school is very proud of this report and the hard work of all staff and pupils has paid off - we are still on our journey of school improvement and know what our next steps are to ensure that the school continues to shine.
I hope that you enjoy reading our report and recognise the many qualities of our school.
